Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with Marjan Wear’s business goals and objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to optimize resource allocation and support operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks through effective controls and mitigation strategies.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial investments to ensure adequate funding for operational needs and growth initiatives.
- Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with taxation regulations and reporting requirements, overseeing tax planning and filings.
- Financial Operations: Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial systems management.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, financial institutions, and legal advisors, to support financial operations and strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or similar senior leadership role within the fashion industry or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage and motivate a diverse finance team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
