Marjan Wear, a leading fashion clothing brand, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer to lead our operations and drive sustainable growth. As COO, you will be instrumental in optimizing our operational efficiency, enhancing production processes, and ensuring exceptional product quality. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to achieve operational objectives aligned with Marjan Wear’s business goals.
- Production and Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end production process, from sourcing raw materials to product delivery, ensuring efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Quality Control: Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of department heads and operational staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with the CFO to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and scalability.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance operational capabilities and support business growth.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, or similar senior leadership role within the fashion or apparel industry.
- Extensive experience in production planning, supply chain management, and quality assurance in apparel manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower teams to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
